Forged SLD Steel for Exceptional Performance
Made from high-quality SLD steel, the Kazoku Kaji Nakiri is forged to perfection. With a high carbon content of 1.5%, the steel is exceptionally hard (61-62 Rockwell), allowing for a fine, long-lasting edge. The addition of 11-13% chromium ensures that the knife is rust-resistant while retaining its cutting power.

Stainless Sanmai Construction
The knife features a Stainless Sanmai construction, where the hard core of the blade is encased in two layers of soft stainless steel. This provides durability and edge retention comparable to a carbon steel knife, but without the high-maintenance care.
