The Kazoku Uteki Santoku features a high-quality VG10 steel blade, hardened to 60–61 HRC for excellent sharpness and durability. Sharpened to a 15° edge and ground thin for minimal resistance, it slices effortlessly through a wide range of ingredients. The hand-applied tsuchime (hammered) finish not only gives the knife its distinctive artisanal look but also reduces food sticking—keeping your prep fast and frustration-free.

Proudly made in Seki, Japan, each knife from the Uteki series reflects true Japanese craftsmanship. The octagonal handle is crafted from rosewood and finished with a polished ebony ferrule.
