Kazoku Ginsan Nashiji Ebony Gyuto 21 cm

A razor-sharp and low-maintenance Japanese chef's knife from the Ginsan Nashiji series—crafted for home cooks and professionals alike who seek exceptional sharpness, refined materials, and effortless performance. Lightweight, balanced, and made with classic Japanese aesthetics, this 21 cm Gyuto is a versatile all-rounder for slicing, dicing, and precision prep work.

The Kazoku Ginsan Nashiji Gyuto is forged from Ginsan (Silver-3) stainless steel, known for its excellent sharpness, high hardness (61 HRC), and ease of sharpening. It’s more forgiving than VG10 steel, yet offers comparable performance with better corrosion resistance and lower maintenance. The blade features a traditional Sanmai (three-layer) construction with a distinctive Nashiji (pear-skin) finish, giving it a rustic yet elegant look—while also helping reduce food sticking to the blade.

The octagonal handle is made from luxurious ebony wood with a natural horn ferrule, giving the knife a traditional Japanese feel while maintaining a light, comfortable grip for long prep sessions.
